History

Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds Ltd. has gone through many changes and upgrades. The following timeline shows some of the important changes that have taken place throughout the years. We look forward to what the future holds and we will continue to strive for continuous improvement.
1993 Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds ltd. was founded by Sylvain Lebel owner and general director and began its first year of operations. 2005 Kan-Go-Roo Achieves ISO 9001 certification for a total quality management system.
1997 Through innovation and quality designs Kan-Go-Roo continues to create exciting playground structures. 2007 Kan-Go-Roo adds a research and development division, and develops new and existing products such as the aluminum skateboard ramps and the ice rink dasher board system.
1998 Kan-Go-Roo achieves CWB Welding Bureau certification for the development of steel playground structures. 2009 Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds upgrades its manufacturing infrastructure with CNC machinery. Improving the manufacturing efficiency and quality of the finished product.
1999 A powder coating facility was added to better control the quality and availability of playground structure powder coating color options and finishes. 2010 Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds achieves the lean manufacturing certification. Essuring that waste is reduced and productivity increased.
2001 Kan-Go-Roo Playgrounds expands its product lines into a completely different line of products and starts ATVenture Components (www.atventure-accessories.com) 2011 Currently Kan-Go-Roo is pursuing the IPEMA certification, and will have its products certified IPEMA in 2012.
